Bush challenger takes on Myrick

During an appearance in Charlotte 18 months ago, President Bush may have regretted calling on a man who'd raised his hand in the balcony at Central Piedmont Community College.

"I have never felt more ashamed of, nor more frightened, by my leadership in Washington, including the presidency," Harry Taylor told the president. "And I would hope from time to time that you have the humility and the grace to be ashamed of yourself."

Taylor's public scolding of the president made news around the world. It brought him interviews on network news shows and made him a darling of the liberal blogosphere. He prompted one blog called simply: thankyouharrytaylor.org.

Now the Charlotte businessman plans to run for Congress against Republican Rep. Sue Myrick.

Taylor's formal announcement is scheduled for mid-November. But a message from him is posted on the Democratic Web site BlueNC.

"I am not a politician, nor have I ever sought to become one," he writes. "But now, I am so seriously concerned about what is happening to our beloved America, I have decided to run for the U.S. Congress.
We face a very divisive partisan incumbent who has been a rubber stamp for Bush's policies on such issues as Iraq and children's health care. Success will take enormous effort, and I cannot do it alone. Simply and honestly, I need your help!"

Charlotte has a fast train that travels to and from DC every night carrying dignitaries back and forth all through the night ; The train is painted jet black so it cant be seen ; Many in Kannapolis have spotted something traveling at 200 mph on the same amway tracks ; The train has red white and Blue lights as if it was patriotic. All the tracks are cleared to run straight to D.C. withoput a whistle or stop. I have eyewitness to this train .

Charlotte has People who really speak with an British accent and then when they come to work in the city they speak American slang; Im telling you the British own Charlotte and have for 300 years ; Bank of America is really the Bank of England , US airways really British airways and Wachovia is British. Why not this is their land and has been for 300 years . sometimes walk up on dignitaries speaking in British accents and then they give the signal to stop .

If this knucklehead wins (which he won't) and gets to Washington with his "you should have the gace to be ashamed" act, he'll be relegated to the back, back bench on every item before the House and will be completely ineffective and without allies except for other marginalized idealogues that people have been stupid enough to vote into office. He'd be more effective on talk radio or as a blogger or editorialist. Get a grip Mr. Taylor.

Really do you all even understand what you are talking about? I am impressed with Harry's conviction and his steadfast willingness to show the 'emperor has no clothes'. This guy is the real deal and we will be lucky if the 9th district wakes up and elects someone that actually cares about our liberties.
